Saudia Technic Signs MOU with UBT to Provide Training Programs for Students

Jeddah – Saudia Technic and the University of Business and Technology (UBT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to offer specialized training programs for the university’s students, alongside cooperative training, volunteering activities, educational and community services, and other enriching experiences. The signing ceremony was attended by several executives from both sides. 

The MOU was signed at the UBT campus in Jeddah by Dr. Weam Tunsi, President of the University of Business and Technology, and Ms. Nesreen Kashgari, Director of Employee Services, on behalf of Mr. Rakan Kayyal, Vice President of the Human Capital Group at Saudia Technic. 

Under this agreement, Saudia Technic will organize specialized workshops designed to enhance practical learning opportunities for UBT students and develop their skills in the fields of aerospace engineering and aircraft maintenance. 

The company will also offer a variety of training activities to provide students with valuable hands-on experience. These efforts aim to foster a fruitful partnership that aligns with the shared vision of both parties. 

The MOU also seeks to strengthen collaboration in the areas of recruitment, academic research, and professional training, with the goal of equipping students with the skills they need to successfully enter the workforce. 

Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Rakan Kayyal, Vice President of Human Capital Group at Saudia Technic, said: At Saudia Technic, we work on building strategic relationships with government institutions and various educational sectors to support Saudi Arabia’s vision and objectives in the fields of education, localization, and women’s empowerment, through a range of qualitative initiatives that aim to diversify human capabilities in the aviation sector, and leveraging the potential of young talents by providing them with specialized academic programs.”

The signing of this MOU is part of the commitment of both Saudia Technic and UBT to empower students and support their development. Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to providing academic and practical guidance, which will help enhance students' professional capabilities.
