Dubai, March 6, 2024 – At the prestigious Dubai MRO Middle East 2024 Conference, Saudia Technic is proud to announce that flyadeal has awarded it a significant contract for the completion of 10 C checks on its Airbus A320neo fleet throughout 2024. This achievement underscores Saudia Technic's leadership and expertise in the aviation maintenance industry.

After a competitive and comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, Saudia Technic was selected by flyadeal, the innovative low-cost airline based in Saudi Arabia, for its proven track record in delivering exceptional MRO services.

The C check is one of the most extensive inspections for an aircraft, involving a thorough examination of a large majority of the aircraft's components. This process ensures that aircraft are maintained in optimum condition, meeting the highest safety and performance standards.

The contract was officially signed during a signing ceremony held on the sidelines of the conference by Capt. Fahd H. Cynndy, CEO of Saudia Technic, and Steven Greenway, CEO of flyadeal.

Capt. Fahd expressed his pride in this partnership: "Winning this contract is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team at Saudia Technic. Our commitment to maintaining the highest safety and efficiency standards resonates with our partners. We are excited to support flyadeal in their growth trajectory and look forward to a fruitful relationship."

flyadeal CEO Steven Greenway said: “This agreement with Saudia Technic demonstrates a strengthening of our long-standing partnership that’s been in place since flyadeal launched operations over six years ago. We are committed to ensuring our young fleet of Airbus A320s continues to be fully compliant with the highest safety standards. Working with Saudia Technic is an example of home-grown industry stakeholders supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and collectively helping to accelerate the growth of our national aviation ecosystem.”

Saudia Technic's state-of-the-art facilities and highly skilled workforce are well-equipped to meet the demands of flyadeal’s growing fleet. This contract is a strategic win for Saudia Technic, reinforcing its position in the market and strengthening the bonds within the aviation sector in the Middle East.

This new venture with flyadeal will commence in early 2024 and is set to bolster Saudia Technic's portfolio of successful maintenance projects while contributing to the continuous improvement of aviation standards in the region.
