Saudia Technic to provide maintenance support for NEOM Vertical Mobility Operating Company.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – May 20, 2024 - Saudia Technic has joined hands with NEOM Vertical Mobility Operating Company by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to explore collaboration on establishing maintenance support for NEOM's innovative vertical mobility system. 

The MoA, signed at the Future Aviation Forum 2024 in Riyadh, represents a significant advancement in transportation. With Saudia Technic's maintenance support ready to propel NEOM Vertical Mobility Operating Company's operations, this collaboration holds the promise of a positive impact on various fronts, including economic growth, boosted tourism, and enhanced environmental sustainability. 

Commenting on the MoA, the CEO of Saudia Technic, Captain Fahd H. Cynndy, noted, "Our involvement in leaving a mark in a pioneering place like NEOM is crucial to us, and at Saudia Technic, we are excited to embark on this journey with NEOM Vertical Mobility Operating Company to fuel its growth. The insights gained from real operational environments will help us address the future challenges of this transformative technology. Together with Saudia Technic, we are not only advancing the field of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) but also creating new opportunities for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” 

The MoA will facilitate mutual growth for both entities, as well as help them become key contributors to sustainable aviation and support the Saudi & Middle East Green Initiatives, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, paving the way for a promising future in the region.

NEOM Vertical Mobility Operating Company (VMOC) is committed to be the first eVTOL operator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, operating the Advanced Air Mobility system for NEOM. This groundbreaking initiative includes Air Taxi services and Heavy-lift Unmanned Aerial Vehicles logistics, fully integrated with NEOM's overall multi-modal and zero-emission public transportation system.
